The Diamond Polar treatment works by gently heating the deeper layers of the skin using radiofrequency energy. This device uses what’s called Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF) to produce uniform heat under the skin’s surface. The technology is superior to many other bi-polar RF systems and the addition of PEMF results in better outcomes through increased fibroblast proliferation (the factory workers that contribute to our collagen production).

This process helps to naturally increase collagen and elastin fibers, resulting in smoother, firmer skin with lines softening over time. You see an immediate lift and tone from this session, making it perfect as a pre-event treatment particularly if your concerns are loss of elasticity of the jowls and neck, sagging, lack of tone and firmness to the skin.

Now here’s the good stuff. Nanofractional RF Resurfacing – what does this mean?

This treatment work with tiny pins that safely deliver heat (via NanoFractional Radio Frequency) through the skin’s surface. The pins create tiny columns of controlled thermal injury, we call them ‘tiny micro-dermal wounds’, which the body naturally heals on its own. Through the healing process, our skin activates growth factors, fibroblasts (the cells responsible for collagen and elastin production), we have contraction of fibres giving us an improved, smoothed appearance of the skin.

Since the wounds are so small, the treatment is much more comfortable than traditional CO₂ lasers, which are currently rising in popularity but have significant risk.

The columns of thermal injury we create with Nanofractional RF encourages our skin to rapidly turnover, taking with it superficial pigmented lesions and uneven texture, to reveal smoother, firmer skin.

How does it feel? 
It doesn’t tickle! Prickling and heat sensation, it takes approximately 20-25 minutes to treat the full face and neck. We recommend you apply topical numbing at home prior to your appointment.

What will it feel like after?

Day 1-2: Redness, some mild swelling (depending on how much of the upper and lower eye we treat)
